AS IMO DEPUTY GOVERNOR ADDRESSES MBAIKE T.C. MEMBERS

His Excellency, Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, MFR, talking to some of the MBA-IKE Transition Committee Members during a meeting with them in his country home .

 

Prior the inauguration of the newly appointed Transition Committee members of Local Governments in Imo State, Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere earlier today admonished the members to uphold those principles that are people friendly.

In a press release signed by Uche Onwuchekwa, Special Assistant to Imo Deputy Governor on Media, Imo Deputy Gov. Prince Madumere congratulated the incoming TC members who will be sworn in on Monday, February 17, 2014 encouraging them to work in unison. He reminded them of their role as the closest ally to the people at the grassroots. He further told to uphold justice on which Rescue Mission Government led by Governor Okorocha and All Progressives Congress are founded.

He admonished the members to play politics of inclusivity while charging them to be their brothers’ keeper. He also charged them to be good Ambassadors of Rescue Mission Government by ensuring they have the policies and programmes of the government at the finger tips.

Speaking to the would-be-sworn-in TC members, Chief Marcelanus Nlemigbo, the former PDP Chairman told the members to tell the truth at all times while ensuring that they make requisite sacrifice to ensure their people are happy. He told them to remember that they are the mirror of the government.

“Politics is changing, it is no longer what it used to be in the past. Always tell the truth at all times to instill trust and confidence. You can borrow a leaf from Owelle Rochas Okorocha who is transparent and says them as they,” enthused Chief Marcon.

Meanwhile, the meeting also saw His Excellency, Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere commend Engr. Jacob Ndukaku for willingly vacating his TC membership seat for Amike Ward for his brother , Rev. Ifeanyi Udeze Okwuoma. He was given a standing ovation for standing.

Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has responded to the report in Announcer Newspaper of last Wednesday edition, December 11…, 2013 saying no cause for alarm as he is hail and hearty.
Speaking during a conference call interview with few Media Executives, he said he had traveled out on official engagement with a sprained knee though not as has been presented thereby causing inflammation around the knee. He however hinted that he might be undergoing a surgery if the Doctors certify so since it is still at the primary stage of diagnosis.
He called on the good people of Imo State to remain calm as it is not really something to be so worried about.
He further used the opportunity to wish the good people of Imo State merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance if he is unable to make it in good time to participate in most of the lined up programmes by His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha for the soul lifting of our people and their enjoyment. He said his doubt over not sure of coming before Christmas is so  owing to official engagements outside of the shores of Imo State, which are not closely knitted with the festive period.
“I am waiting to hear what the Doctors will say as I love spending my Christmas at home especially every 31st nights with my family members and the entire people of Mbaike with other guests from far and near”.
He called on the people of Imo state who will be coming home to take a tour to appreciate the development in Imo state and take the advantage to invest so as to boost the economy of the State.
He, however, enthused that in modern economy, government is expected to make the environment conducive and investment friendly while the private sector takes the lead in economic activities. He said Rescue Mission Government led by Owelle Rochas  Okorocha will be ready for such partnership in so far that it is a serious minded investors.
He further revealed that with the security situation in Imo State, people could come home and home without any fear of molestation as it is also a needed factor for business to cash in on for exploit in Imo soil.
Meanwhile, Imo Deputy Governor further expressed satisfaction with the organisation of the State occasioned by devolution of power with the establishment of Community Government Council saying it is the tonic needed to kick-start the development of Imo communities and the State in general. He called on the captains of industries from those communities to liaise with CGC and look at areas where they can come in to helping the communities grow.
While calling on the people of Imo State especially those in Diaspora to appreciate government’s effort so far in less than three years in office, he called for the support of the Rescue Mission Government, which he described as people oriented government with human face and requisite sagacity and sacrifices to continually make Imo State better and better.

I, on behalf of my family heartily felicitate with His excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, his amiable wife and the good people of Imo State workers on this auspicious occasion of Imo Workers Day Out.

For me, it is time for us as a people to jointly thank God for what he has been doing for us as individuals and as a people especially as it concerns our collective effort towards contributing to making Imo better.
You will all agree with me that Rescue Mission government led by His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha including my humble self could not have achieved much were it not for your invested energy, intellect and skills.
As you celebrate this day , let us remember that it is not he that runneth but our Lord that showeth mercy. We owe to our God Almighty the strength, intellect and other endowments, with which we have performed exceedingly well.
His excellency, Owelle Rochas  Okorocha, our visionary Governor appreciates your worwhile effort and sacrifices. It is for our good and that of the generations yet unborn. I am also sure that it is those effort of yours that you are being celebrated today.
For me, I would have loved to be part of the celebration but God knows the best . You can be sure that I am part of you as I am there with you in spirit with your presence as my presence because you are my friends.
